Amandine return after a five year gap with the first fruits from their new self-titled album which was released with a whisper this past Thursday, March 1. Amandine is a bold step forwards from the group’s 2007 sophomore album Solace In Sore Hands. A quiet understated gem of immense proportions, Solace saw the Swedish based outfit – led by Olof Gidlöf - blend obvious Americana references with the natural surroundings of their homeland; thus creating the aural equivalent of a warm and tender embrace.
‘Redemption’ takes the blueprint of Solace In Sore Hands to a new level. Embracing a level of confidence and playfulness, it’s immediately more accessible than anything that has preceded it in the bands seven year career. Stream / download ‘Redemption’ below.
