Listen: All We Are – “Keep Me Alive (Warpaint POJI Remix)”
All We Are have released a remix of their single “Keep Me Alive” by one-time tour partners Warpaint.
The original - which appears on the trio’s recently released self- titled debut - is an ethereal take on guitar driven indie rock.
Once Warpaint got their hands on it, “Keep Me Alive” was transformed into shadowy electronica, with vocalist Guro’s voice warped into icy, staccato sound bites. Occasionally, All We Are’s framework shines through in brief flashes of acoustic guitar, but the prevailing mood is dark and synth-soaked. Warpaint’s use of hypnotic loops only capitalises on the song’s airy atmosphere.
All We Are, who hail from Liverpool, have also announced their biggest London show to date on Wednesday 14 October at Scala. Tickets are on sale now.
