Goshen vocalist AARØN’s debut track, ‘Outta My Head’ surfaced in springtime, thick with boisterous, nigh-on sickly production and a chorus pilfered straight out of NeYo’s back pocket.
He’s back this week with ‘Tell Me (That You Love Me)’, a more toned down take on contemporary RnB, aided in no small part by Trent Everywhere’s vibrating breaks, low-key pianos and Aphex Twin sampling which provides a slick compliment to AARØN’s gloomy croon. SZA and Gallant collaborator, Felix Snow is a fan, now wouldn’t that be a perfect match?
