Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba Lev Snowe is a producer and band creating dream-fuelled pop that seems to float along cloud nine itself.
"When I Look Back" has a certain charm to it. It is soft and gentle, where the recurring guitar riff that provides the main backbone of the song carefully ebbs and flows in wave-like motion, creating an altogether hypnotic effect.
The song is taken from Lev Snowe's upcoming EP, entitled Faded Blue, and is rich with washed-out layers of bedroom surf-rock and pschedelic tendencies. The song eventually builds into a magnificent beast of euphoria that sweeps away any bad feelings to leave you feeling pleasantly light-headed. A perfect supplement to long, balmy summer days.
