It’s been two years since Let’s Buy Happiness’ last offering, the single ‘Six Wolves’, and the quintet are back, this time in the run up to a debut album release.
‘Run’ is a real grower of a track, with its spacey acoustic beginnings transforming into a measured finale of Sigur Rós style beauty, with Sarah Hall’s voice fast becoming one of the most emotive around. It’s a calmer, more ethereal offering than the band’s early singles, and it’s the perfect teaser for, Chants For Friends, to be released later this year; not showing all its cards, but just enough to keep anticipation levels at a significant level.
The band also tour the UK in October.
