LÉON exceeds expectation on the spectacular “Sleep Deprived”
Following a sold-out show at London's Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen Swedish singer-songwriter LÉON, born Lotta Lingren, embarks on her US tour and shares set stand-out “Sleep Deprived”.
We all know the feeling of being sleep deprived, for whatever reason - sometimes not getting those important eight hours can really mess with your mood during the day ahead. On “Sleep Deprived” LÉON is “fucked up inside” now her lover is gone, sharing more heartbroken truths as she documents her own inability to close her eyes and drift off.
“Sleep Deprived” follows the raw, emotion-packed “Liar”, another stand-out live as it sees LÉON’s voice truly shine. Her live show lifts off with the effervescent “Nobody Cares” take from her stunning first EP Treasure, featuring popular gem “Tired Of Talking”. With more live cuts screaming out for release, set closer “For You” is another to watch out for as “Sleep Deprived” continues to set the Scandi star up for that inevitable album launch.
