Legends Of Country bring 'Jelly and Jam' to the table in their new video
The brainchild of one Jof Owen (known more widely for the wonky indie-pop of The Boy Least Likely To), Legends Of Country links mundane British traditions with classic country stylings.
Inspired by Owen's love of country music, debut album Talk About Country is a concept record of sorts - honing in on small town success and the failure that often follows, about finding love late in life and looking back on what might have been.
Never shying away from his C86 roots, Legends Of Country playfully embrace a host of country styles, peppering them with a hint of jangly indie-pop that results in one of the most charming debuts we've heard all year.
Watch the offficial video for latest single "Jelly and Jam" below, which premieres today at Best Fit.
