Relatively inconspicuous producer Late June teams up with vocalist Reisha on melancholic track “Fewer Friends”.
An early morning trawl through the charred remains of SoundCloud revealed the work of Sonny Bevins aka Late June, a young trip-hop producer and self-confessed sculptor of sad songs. On his latest offering “Fewer Friends” featuring Reisha, Late June employs delicate piano and minimal beats with an almost Peter Gabriel-esque level of production creating profound feelings of nostalgia and borderline nihilism.
