L.A. Foster - our favourite rising star of the Montreal music scene - is back with a new track, revealed via a video that features the likes of Mozart's Sister, Ouss Langhzaoui from Hoan and Emilie Durville of the Grands Ballets Canadiens.
"Waverly" finds its nuance through yet more showcasing of Foster's ridiculously assured vocal, providing the melodic heart of the track.
The track is a co-write with Marc St-Louis from Valleys and is mixed by Max Henry (Suuns). It's the best we've heard her sound so far and sets the bar high for her debut (which we're promised is on its way).
