KWAYE unveils sensual, stripped-back R&B number "Jasmine"
British-Zimbabwean R&B conjurer KWAYE has shared new single "Jasmine" and its highly charged accompanying visuals.
Slow, quivering guitars bob along above shuffling percussion and off-kilter basslines, with KWAYE's elastic vocal line whipping from all-out belt to hushed whisper seemingly on a whim. The uncharacteristically pared-down offering hinges on the power of KWAYE's voice - which, fortunately, is pretty damn powerful.
The track follows "Lost In My Boots" and summer EP Solar (which features "Little Ones", "Cool Kids", and "Sweetest Life").

"This song is whatever it makes you feel," says the London-based artist. "For me, romance isn't dead, and 'Jasmine' embodies the highs and lows of intimacy."
