KLARA unveils beautiful and moving live version of new track "Playgroundhouse"
Swedish singer-songwriter, and friend of Bon Iver, KLARA is back with a new single and live video.
Following on from spending time with Justin Vernon et al at the Eaux Claires festival, KLARA's latest release reveals a more pastoral side to her music compared to the cavernous, vocoder-laden "Falling".
"Playgroundhouse" is a string-laden beauty, enhanced by the Swede's gorgeous and folky vocal. Any thoughts of getting comfortable are banished by the guitar lines which nudge at the edges of the track, a darkness which contrasts against the angelic light of the wonderful harmonies.
Of the track, KLARA says "I wrote it in front of my house window. I guess I was imagining me meeting someone and even though I was taught to never to look for happiness in someone else it's still beautiful to dream of what you can build together".
