Young Swedish producer Klahr unveils the Balearic bliss of "Humanize" from his debut EP
Today sees the release of the debut EP from Gothenburg's Johannes Klahr, who records simply as Klahr.
Dreaming Wild is the name of the Swedish producer's first extended player, and from it we're giving you the standout track, "Humanize". Discovered by Axwell of Swedish House Mafia, the record covers pop, electronica and dance in a relatively short period of time.
The overlap in a Venn diagram containing John Hughes films, M83 and Balearic pop, Klahr has crafted a fun and affecting four minutes containing vinyl crackle, saxophone, twinkling synths and a beat which just won't quit. It's feelgood music of the highest order, something to soundtrack both sunset and sunrise. Klahr's gonna be one to watch out for.
