Kitty channels late-'90s pop on infectious pop-rap ditty "Drink Tickets"
Kitty's kept quiet for a while, but rumblings of her return are becoming material; she's flung out this hedonistic party-starter as part of Adult Swim's singles series. It's called "Drink Tickets", and it's an effortless anthem for college boozing.
Swerving away from her traditional styles somewhat, the tune sees Kitty channeling late-'90s pop like Britney, Christina and S Club as well as reeling off her exasperated speak-rap. It's one of the most pop-poised tracks we've had from Kitty, and easily one of the most infectious.
Frequent collaborator Pat Lukens has produced the cut. It follows Kitty's Frostbite EP, which was released last winter.
