KINGS follows Lewis Capaldi support slot with anthemic debut single "Colour"
Lewis Capaldi is the name on everybody's lips right now, and after supporting him on tour across Europe, London newcomer KINGS looks set to follow in his footsteps.
KINGS' potent debut single "Colour" is an electro-pop introduction of swaggering, staggering confidence. On its soaring chorus, KINGS rails against the pressure to conform she faces both as an artist and as an individual: "A shadow in the mirror / This is what you've made of me." Her gutteral howl invokes the devastating balladry of Sweden's Loreen, whilst that pristine production wouldn't be out of place on a radio hit from Little Mix or Fifth Harmony. At its core, "Colour" is a song of power and defiance – a mission statement for the future of KINGS' career.
