Second chances are spun into sugar-sweet indie rock on Kindsight’s debut “Who Are You”

For a debut single, it’s impressive how at home in their sound Kindsight are – every part of “Who Are You” is tuned and polished into a little gem of a song.

The Rama Lama signed four-piece have been playing around Copenhagen for a while now (well - they were before all the stuff happened), and are making their debut on record with their new single.

The band say: “'Who Are You' is a summer song written in January. It’s the result of giving seemingly bad ideas a second chance: When the first draft for ‘Who Are You’ was brought to rehearsal by our guitarist, Søren, the song was labelled as ‘that stupid disco-pop song’ and put aside for a while. But after giving it a second chance, the song really came to life as a lush, light and forward-driven indie pop song, which we couldn’t be more happy with.

“Our drummer, Johannes, had just recovered from an injury that kept him from drumming for half a year, so we were definitely in a collective state of moving forward and not worrying about stuff in the past when we wrote the song.”
