French indie mavericks Keep Dancing Inc share groovy new wave bop “Don’t Know”
Stepped in John Hughes imagery and filled with deliciously cheesy ‘80s romance, “Don’t Know” cements Keep Dancing Inc as Europe’s premier dance-floor fillers.
Led by the royally named Charles De Cabbarus’ the French foursome combine deadpan vocals with infectious hooks to create pure teenage euphoria. As a group the band have demonstrated an almost chameleonic approach to music creation since the release of the Intial Public Offering EP back in 2017, hopping between slacker tones to club tunes finally crash landing on the ‘80s synth funk pop majesty of “Don’t Know”.
Keep Dancing Inc are the definition of the new band - controlled, refined, un-boisterous, the antithesis of masochistic cock rock that indie guitar music has come to be synonymous with. Viva la France!
