Swedish producer Kasbo teams up with buzzy vocalist Chelsea Cutler for "Found You"
We find Swedish producer Kasbo and American singer/songwriter Chelsea Cutler sounding harmonious on the EDM-lite cut and spring-has-sprung soundtrack "Found You".
The latest single from Kasbo is perfect for bright mornings when the sun pours in through the window. Let "Found You" take you away to your happy place.
Kasbo explains how the weather actually did influence the creation of the track: "'Found You' kinda came about with me just sitting by the piano with open windows on a warm sunny day. When I came up with the chord progression and humming melody I directly felt that it encapsulated the moment I was in - that kind of vibe when the sun comes through the window, everything is still and you can see all the dust particles float in the air. I just wanted to reflect that entire mood, there's something very magical about it for me."
The track’s overriding simplicity is the main component of its charm. Instead of diving head first into a over-the-top drop or adding too much to the production, Cutler’s vocals shine and the nuances of the song’s moving atmospheric elements get their time in the spotlight too. "Found You" is refreshing.
