LA-based British producer Karnaval Blues releases alluring sophomore single “You Come With The Rain”
The transitory state between hot, humid summer evenings and the first drops of rainfall bring a promise of change. It’s this balmy haze that embodies the opening chorus of Karnaval Blues' “You Come With The Rain”, a gentle, dewy mist cascading into R&B tinged melodies.
The winding electronica on Karnaval Blues' new track is utterly blissful, melting into soft vocal harmonies and synthesised barbs of ambient production.
“It’s about loss, getting over someone, the separation – and the nostalgia that comes from that,” Karnaval Blues says. “I want this record to be listened to from beginning to end. I don’t see it as two singles then the rest is there to make it a full album. It’s a full project”.
The euphonious production bolsters the fragile commands. “Play with my heart” is an agonising plea, fracturing the track’s surface into glittering shards of splintered glass.
