Kacy Hill announces debut record and unveils brace of sublime singles
G.O.O.D. Music-signed newcomer Kacy Hill has shared two brand new tracks and announced long-awaited debut record Like A Woman.
Arizona-born Hill has dropped "Like A Woman" and "Hard To Love" to celebrate the big announcement. She's following heavy-hitting offerings like "Lion" and "Foreign Fields", plus 2015's Bloo EP.
"Like A Woman is an exploration of my own femininity and sexuality," Hill explains of the LP. "I want my audience to have a similar experience of their own while listening. My goal is not to make a statement, but make space for exploration without shame or guilt. I don't speak for all women. I speak for Kacy Hill."
Kanye West serves as executive producer on the record, with Stuart Price on production duties for "Hard To Love" and DJ Mustard working on the title track. The former has Hill cast as a Proper Popstar, and the latter's spangly R&B ballad with late-night keys and thundering vocals... both are ace.
