California electro-pop duo JOME are golden on the breaktaking "Mountains"
Sweet like cinnamon and refreshing like a warm breeze on a dead hot day, Californian duo JOME's soothing electro-pop reaches a new peak with latest single "Mountains".
Originally the solo project of Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Jesse Marc, JOME is now a collaborative project with Christoph Anderson (G-Eazy, Olivia O'Brien) who reached out to Marc almost a year ago to the day following the premiere of his debut track "Brushstroke".
"Mountains" is the first track to be taken from the pair's forthcoming debut EP Tunnels, which sees them relay their love for nature into their music.
"It’s a song about finally achieving your goals and the feeling that comes along with those moments," the duo explain. "It's also a reminder to not take things for granted and to appreciate how far you've come, because it's so easy to forget where you started."
A breathtaking listen from start to finish, JOME really manage to create something truly magical within the three and a half minutes of this track. Let "Mountains" take you away to some place fantastical for that short amount of time, or longer if you choose to hit repeat.
