With a voice full of a sorrow and a heart for songwriting, JJ Draper conveys his musical message with the confidence and tact of an artist much further down their career path. “In Visions” is a swirling haze of intelligent synth work and yearning vocals that sounds almost orchestrated rather than assembled. If this is the sort of content we are to expect from Draper then 2018 could be a very significant year for him.
