JF Sebastian shares experimental indie pop anthem “Komodo”
The elusive singer careens into the spotlight with an infectious study on triumph through change.
With a backstory as yet undisclosed, JF Sebastian has left only his music to be dissected. First offering Komodo is a startlingly concise debut for fans of intelligent songwriting in the vein of The Magic Gang and Yuck. Essentially a tale of human behaviour with all it’s shameful and beautiful moments, “Komodo” is a clarion call to those who feel demeaned and objectified, offering heartfelt instruction - if you can't change how someone sees you, you can embody it.
In his own words: "I want to be pushing my own boundaries of what a pop song can be, whether that’s an eccentric, moody story that freaks you out or a straight down the line, unconcealed image of the world I see. However the music comes out, I want there to be a little something for everyone.”
