Jessie Ware’s new single ‘Night Light’ is out later this month. The dark and sensual track recently having been accompanied by an equally seductive monochrome video (with a cheeky appearance from Jessie’s boyfriend, of course).
The combination of cello and staccato vocal thrusts the song into the hands of willing re-workers Wild Beasts, the latest to take on a remix after Joe Goddard’s classy disco workout from last week. Added ghostliness comes from working Jessie’s vocal alongside their own distinctive tones and hypnotic rhythms. File under late night listening.
