Jazz Mino catches feelings on her new single “Shy”
Dancing across a vibrant production, alt-pop maverick Jazz Mino continues to spread joy with bouncing melodies in her latest single, “Shy”.
Matching the earworm euphoria of cult-pop icons like Carly Rae Jepsen with the emotional candidness of top-tier songwriters, Jazz Mino leans on big hooks to demonstrate her magnetism as one of pop’s ones to watch. Her sprightly vocal glows atop the cliches of romance, as “Shy” injects a new vibrancy into Mino’s pop sensibilities.
“'Shy' is about having a huge crush on one of my closest friends,” says Jazz Mino on the first track from her upcoming EP Someone Else To Talk To. “He produces most of my songs with me, and after we FINALLY got together, I was like – ‘Hey, I wrote a song about you, wanna work on it with me?’… And that’s how ‘Shy’ was born!”
