Jamie xx reveals dancehall mix of "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)"
During a Los Angeles gig, Jamie xx premiered the dancehall version of the feel good song "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)", featuring the likes of Assassin, Konshens, Kranium, and Popcaan.
Having released his critically acclaimed (and long awaited) debut album In Colour earlier this year, Jamie xx has started touring his feelgood beats around the world. At The Echoplex in Los Angeles last night (29 July), the renowned producer revealed a new edit for the summer hit "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)". The dancehall edit features a new verse by Popcaan, as well as an extended soulful intro, building immensely to a perfect drop into the feel good track.
You can watch footage of the dancehall edit played in Los Angeles below, and find Jamie xx's live dates below that.
