Relax with Jakob Ogawa and Clairo's dreamy duet "You Might Be Sleeping"
Norwegian singer/songwriter Jakob Ogawa teams up with Boston's Clairo for a breezy collaboration.
Teasing his forthcoming debut EP Bedroom Tapes, the 19 year old bright spark shares his latest magical marvel, which sees him harmonising with fellow teen and dream pop purveyor Clairo, who's made a name for herself through her Soundcloud profile.
The song is all about being in love, which works especially well as not only due to Ogawa's and Clairo's perfect harmonies, but it goes beyond a call and answer structure and the track's brevity helps it act as a window into a brief moment in a relationship.
Ogawa's profile has been building across Scandinavia and the rest of Europe thanks to a support slot on LANY's latest headline tour. Singles like "All Your Love" and "Let It Pass" may be among his first, but along with "You Might Be Sleeping" show a lot of promise for Ogawa's developing songwriting.
