Brighton-based J. Tropic is the latest addition to Duly Noted Records, home to another of Best Fit’s favourites, Manou and IYES. The currently faceless artist is set to release “Love Up”, a soothing, refreshing, and tropically-infused track.
“Love Up” is all electronic beats and retro synths, and boasts a wonderfully catchy chorus. It doesn’t shy away from being a feel-good track, with a blissful, seize-the-moment chorus to boot. The passionate, lulling vocals, which come along with sensual utterings of “oohs” and “aahs”, will make you have nostalgic flashbacks of Ce Ce Peniston, Technotronic and Snap! and many more 90s dance floor fillers.
J. Tropic’s debut single is an evanescent introduction to the artist’s flawless style - an airtight throwback to 90s dance and RnB - and is already gearing up to be one of this summer’s unavoidable jams.
