Isadora's first single in two years explores interpretations of self-medication
Raised on The Ramones, Motörhead, and lot of things inbetween, Isadora's genre-rich musical upbringing shows itself on new offering "Medications".
21-year-old singer-songwriter-producer Isadora comes forth with her first release in two years, having spent that time exploring what she can do on her own. "Medications" was the product of experimentation while holed up in a friend's basement. Talking us to over email she tells us what it feels like to finally share some more music: "I care about what people think, I'm not one of those people that tries to act like they don't, so putting out music has been nerve racking."
"At the same time," she adds, "it’s that hyper awareness motivated me to write lyrics that anyone can relate to." While the track’s title is about its central lyric "I’m ready for just one more dosage," it was pretty clear to Isadora that she wanted to create something "completely up for interpretation, something different for each listener." The phrase "self-medication" allows Isadora to do just that.
