Earlier this month, we reported that Hype Williams was to carry on without core members Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland, with a swiftly-deleted note instructing us to ‘look elsewhere’, for the latter’s material.
Well, it turns out that YouTube is a pretty good place to start searching. Freshly uploaded to a channel named copeland, ‘Fit’ traces a similarly freaky vein to May’s Higher Powers mixtape with persistent handclaps, hollow synth undulations and guitars, drained of their colour, providing an entrancing compliment to Copeland’s pallid whisper. Who said breaking up has to be hard, huh? Inga’s making it look like a doddle.
