In Memoirs channel gleaming '80s bliss on new song "All Of My Time"
Hailing from Copenhagen, In Memoirs is the work of Morten Fillipsen - an artist not afraid to wear his influences proudly on his sleeve.
The Dane happily admits his sound "is inspired by tv shows such as Beverly Hills 90210 and Baywatch" and that's evident on new single "All Of My Time".
Although those US shows are decent touchstones, "All Of My Time" is more likely to be playing at the pivotal moment in a John Hughes film. The keys are big, colourful and unabashed, the percussion brash yet balanced by twinkling synths, and Fillipsen's cooing falsetto is emotive without being overly-earnest.
This is music fit to make your heart burst, pop music at close to its very best.
