I'lls float into eternity on trip-hop inspired single "Keep" [Premiere]
Melbourne's I'lls (pronounced 'Isles') are premiering new single "Keep" on Best Fit.
Featuring on upcoming EP Can I Go With You To Go Back To My Country, the track sees Dan Rutman, Hamish Mitchell, and Simon Lam utilise trip-hop textures and beats for a twinkling soft-pop ode. Dreamy, gossamer-layered instruments recall alt-J, but far from the theatrical folk-ishness that the English outfit offer, I'lls soar high into the heavens as if consigned to the brutal reality of floating away, just like George Clooney in Gravity (is that a spoiler alert at this point?).
The Can I Go With You To Go Back To My Country EP is released 6 July on Solitaire Records; you can pre-order the EP here.
