Having reworked the likes of Warpaint and Chet Faker, young Italian producer EBY has taken on a more pop-facing track in the form of IIRIS’ brilliant “Tigerhead”.
The Estonian starlet impressed at last year’s Tallinn Music Week and is making a name for herself as the Baltic’s answer to the plethora of Nordic radio-ready electro-pop makers. Now, the Milan-based artist has grabbed hold of the track and seduced it, unlocking a new-found calmness by placing IIRIS’ cooing vocal above intricate, skipping rhythms and a warm, walking bass line.
