IIRIS pays tribute to Amanda Palmer in creepy new cut "Killing"
Estonia's IIRIS has revealed a new tune titled "Killing" - it's a Halloween tribute to Amanda Palmer.
Writing on Soundcloud, IIRIS explains the track: "Early Halloween present for you guys and a tribute to Amanda Palmer! The song is inspired/quoted by AFP's 'Trout Heart Replica'. Intended to be a tune to dance to at a Halloween party. Enjoy being alive and not killing peeps/hearts! Hearty Halloween guysz!"
The track is produced by Proverb, and sees IIRIS explore lush synthpop textures with a glimmering vocal display. Melancholy house hooks litter the cut, building to a downbeat, uptempo 4:10 of sad pop glory.
IIRIS is performing at our week-long new music festival in January - tickets are available now from £6.
