Icona Pop ready 'The Iconic EP', stream new song 'Ready For The Weekend'

Only last week it was revealed that Swedish duo Icona Pop had signed to Atlantic Records subsidiary Big Beat. Today the girls announce their first international release since 2011′s Nights Like This EP will be The Iconic EP; a collection of previously unheard tracks alongside the recent Swedish platinum selling single ‘I Love It’.

The first single to be lifted from The Iconic is long-time live set closer ‘Ready For The Weekend’ – a six minute long banger with enough heart stopping drops to give Skrillex a run for his money. Like all of Icona Pop’s previous material, there’s just the right amount of fun, suspense and sass to turn ‘Ready For The Weekend’ into a fully fledged club classic. Stream it in full below. The track will be available to purchase via Beatport as of tomorrow (11 September).
