Listen: Hypnotized – “Hylia” [Premiere]
Having signed to Daniel Copeman’s (yes he of Esben & The Witch) label Love Thy Neighbour, Brighton three-piece Hypnotized are gearing up for the release of their brand new 5-track EP Telesto and have today revealed brand new track “Hylia”.
A sprawling exploration in psychedelic krautrock, Robbie Wood, Robin White and Paul Whelan’s creation is as intense as it is lethargic, its crushingly dense layers coming in as they do at just over the 3 minute mark while seemingly taking an hour to reach their end via way of muted looping synth hooks and a dirge of distorted vocals.
The band have some live shows coming up too.
