Holy Esque uncover "Oslo", the final instalment in a trilogy of "heavy and hearftfelt" singles
Glasgow post-punks Holy Esque have revealed "Oslo", a harrowing new track stuffed with grand emotions.
Speaking about the track, vocalist Pat Hynes says: "'Oslo' was written as part of a trilogy of songs. [It's] a tragic tale that follows a prostitute, harassed, and tortured until her final hour with everything left behind. It began in 2012 with ‘Ladybird Love’, followed by ‘Doll House’ from our forthcoming debut album, and finishes with ‘Oslo’. Emotional tracks that truly reach their pinnacle with this heavy and heartfelt song.”
At Hope's Ravine is due for release 26 February on Beyond The Frequency. "Oslo" is released on a limited edition 7" (backed with new cut "Tear").
