Hilang Child airs "Endless String" from new AA-side [UK Premiere]
We're proud to be sharing the UK premiere of "Endless String", the second part of the new AA-side single from London-based multi-instrumentalist Hilang Child (born Ed Riman).
Weaving gorgeous ambient threads with synths so chilling they'll make your bone marrow frosty, Riman creates a piece of atmospheric music that eschews standard pop or rock motifs in favour of his own, breathy, epic style of noise. It's fizzing with emotional depth and gorgeously textured instruments, slowly building layers upon layers like the most thundering post-rock, but staying intimate like a barely-there whisper. Perhaps there are similarities to Sigur Rós, but when has that ever been a bad thing?
"Thule"/"Endless String" is out now via Akira Records.
