Helena Deland delivers another stroke of mesmeric beauty with new track "Lean On You"
Stomping, powerful and whistfully hypnotic, "Lean On You" sees the Montréal-based artist rise up once again as a completely enchanting prospect.
Helena Deland has captured our attention countless times before, entrancing us with the unique grandeur that so deeply enriches her unique sound and her latest offering is no exception.
Bathed in cinematic soundscapes, "Lean On You" sees Deland deliver a darkly elegant song that is riddled with mysterious guitars that twang out against the splendour of her effortless vocals, the effect of which is spine-tinglingly exciting.
The song is underpinned by a stomping, powerful drum beat that pounds onwards, whilst the song navigates through lighter, dreamy tones and ambiguous darkness. It's like getting lost in a dream that has elements of hallucinatory uncertainty, where not everything makes sense but also makes total sense at the same time. However, it doesn't matter which way you look at this mysterious dream, as it's going to be one you will most definitely not want to wake up from when it sounds this good.
