"Hardcore" is a perfect party anthem from Gothenburg's Esther Vallee
Swedish pop upstart Esther Vallee hits a home run with "Hardcore", a euphoric mesh of heart-stopping choruses and slithering electro verses.
"Hardcore" is a sublime statement from Vallee, who picks up where Taylor Swift left off on 1989 and sprints to the club. It's captivating from start to finish, with bolshy Scandi-chic synthwork and muscular earworms you'll need surgery to remove.
Nikeisha Andersson directs the visuals for the Gothenburg-based 24 year old's new single, which follows October's "Numbers".
Vallee is making her UK live debut on 6 March at London's Sebright Arms. She's also set to play Norwegian showcase by:Larm on 1 and 2 March (Krösset and Mono respectively).
