Hannie's "Low Key" embodies all things delightful and stomach-churning about crushing on someone
Not content with being the world's cutest couple, Hannie are busy bringing us all the super-sweet pop bangers we need (but probably don't deserve)/
New single "Low Key" is as adorable as it comes; centring around the intention to play it cool when you're really just head over heels. With glowing synths and an engaging, conversation vocal, the track neatly embodies all that's both delightful and stomach-churning about an all-consuming crush.
It not hard to see where Hannie get their inspiration. The band is made up of Hannah and Annie, a duo who met at music school and bonded over their own geekiness. Their relationship may have been a wonderful outcome on a small scale, but the 80s-tinged bangers they're coming up with deliver a wider-reaching joy.
