Listen: Gold Is For The Golden Team - "I'm A Revolution"
With a name that exudes greatness and confidence, Gold Is For The Golden Team immediately sound like they are part of the unstoppable Nordic musical invasion. The group consists of producers and musicians from Sweden who have been honing their skills by releasing a track each month, eventually realised in their debut EP, Culture Classic.
The collective premiered the jangle-filled indie-pop tune “Gimme Something” last month on Best Fit and now they reveal “I’m A Revolution”; a track that completely distances itself from its predecessor by verging into more electronic territory. This goes to show the collective’s ample spectrum of musical diversity, with “I’m A Revolution” featuring gorgeous harmonising voices and female lead. Carried along by a syncopated beat and intermittent keyboards, “I’m A Revolution” immerses the listener into a solid gold sub-aquatic dream.
