George Glew releases first single “Bury Me” alongside a stunning live video
The 24-year-old songwriter currently resides in Bristol and begins a residency at the iconic Gallimaufry later this month.
George Glew’s musical forays were born out of a childhood love for all things blues, folk and soul and then nurtured by a steady parental hand. Fast forward a number of years and Glew is taking those formative influences and combining them with the likes of Bon Iver, John Mayer and Jimi Hendrix, creating his own tailored sound.

“Bury Me” is a powerful song. Powerful in the sense that it evokes a significant amount of emotion from what feels like a very simple and honest place. Only time will tell if that really is the case but for the moment, one is inclined to believe uprightness and passion dictate George Glew’s music making.
