Gardens and Villa preview new album Music For Dogs with “Everybody”
Gardens and Villa have shared a new cut from their imminent album release Music For Dogs.
Never ones to do things by halves, with their new track Gardens & Villa layer intricate refrain atop of intricate refrain. "Everybody wants the new you, no one cares who you are," the lyrics echo - and much like the track's construction, no matter how deep you delve, no truth is ever found.
"Everybody" is a maze of complex melodies and resounding rhythms, soaring and building before diving down a topsy-turvy plummet that leaves you exactly where you started.
Disorienting and bewitching, "Everybody" might not tell you anything new, but you'll certainly have fun along the way.
Music For Dogs is released 21 August via Secretly Canadian.
