Heirs to BSE’s alternative crown (previous incumbents include Miss Black America, Jacob’s Mouse and Thee Vicars), Gaffa Tape Sandy make electrifying garage rock with a distinctly modern twist.
A dubious name, infectious melodies and punk rock sensibilities - what more could you possibly want from a band? Enter Gaffa Tape Sandy, a ragtag group who tick all those boxes. Their last offering "Beehive" caused quite the stir and now they are back with their most ambitious track to date, “Meat Head”.
A heady mix of toe-tapping indie and proto punk, “Meat Head” demonstrates that Gaffa Tape Sandy are a band on the rise.
“Meat Head” is out now.
