French composer Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch airs stunning mini-film for "Scale Of Volatility"
French pianist/composer Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch is premiering the emotional short film for her track "Scale Of Volatility" on Best Fit.
The Paris-born, Goldsmiths-educated composer is at the vanguard of modern classical, experimenting with traditional methods, electronic technology, and finding inspiration in the works of LFO, Sufjan Stevens, and Andy Stott.
"Scale Of Volatility" is calculated and emotional - tension is rife - and Levienaise-Farrouch's stunning new visuals reflect that, with explosive bursts of human expression in startling monochrome adding new dimensions to the rich sounds of the composition.
The track features on Like Water Through Sand, Levenaise-Farrouch's latest LP, which was released last month on Fat Cat’s sister label, 130701.
