Fred Well unveils emotive acoustic version of "Superhero", confirmed as UK tour support for Sigrid
Following a successful couple of shows at Vill Vill Vest back in September of last year and some buzz for his debut solo single "Complicated", Norway's Fred Well is back with a stripped down version of his most recent track.
On a piano and voice version of "Superhero", Well's vocal steals the show. Already possessed of what seemed to be a fine set of pipes, when shorn of all backing but the gentle keys it throws into focus what Well actually has - a quite beautiful R&B-tinged voice.
Of this version of "Superhero", Well explains that "you know it's a good song when it works with the piano as your only companion." We can't disagree.
In other Fred Well news, we can annouce that the singer will be supporting Sigrid on her sold-out UK tour in March, a move which is sure to make a whole lot more people aware of his smooth Norwegian charms.
