Francobollo wield the weird and wondrous with new track "Wonderful"
Creating a sound that can pull off weird and wonderful is hard to come by, but it seems Swedish group Francobollo have got it on lock.
Francobollo's latest offering "Wonderful" is much like plunging into an ordinary pool that soon flips reality into a magical world.
Using exciting jolts of electronica throughout their guitar-dominated track emphasises the unpredictable weirdness of the track. Moulding the electronica to create an exhilirating journey that drives the listener away from reality is part of Francobollo's magic.
The bursts of alienating electronica break the consistency of the alt-rock guitars, elating their eratic sound.
"Wonderful" is an admirable attempt to create a makeshift world. Francobollo create jubilation in their joyous track, successfully fusing weird and wonderful together.
