“Super Star Struck” is a hefty slice of intergalactic space funk from Franc Moody
North West London’s Franc Moody are taking their sound to dizzying new heights on cosmic disco ode “Super Star Struck”.
The track pairs chug-a-lug guitars with italo-synth sounds in what can only be described as a dance-floor creeping, hip swaying groove sensation. The duo have moved away from the formative instrumental days of EP 1 and are now firmly rooted in vocal hooks and stellar sonic arrangements whilst re-appropriating the fundamentals of synth pop.

Speaking on the new single, Franc Moody said: "Super Star Struck combines epic intergalactic funk sounds á la George Clinton with the stellar bass n' drum grooves of Sly Stone. The title itself describes the feeling of pure awe and wonder we sometimes get from any number of things, events or moments that are truly mesmerising, hypnotic and magnetic.”
