Bristolians Football FC cut their teeth on the post-punk scuzz of “Big Time”
Football FC are the latest signatories to London hype label Permanent Creeps Records, bringing to the table diseased drawls and ragged grooves with "Big Time".
Though Football FC are scarcely a year old, the trio are lifelong friends with as much capacity for control as they have for madness. Their particular brand of post-punk, with blown-out guitars gnawing on a heart of synth in its death throes, blended beautifully into Permanent Creeps’ roster.
Though Permanent Creeps now encompasses management and a record label, they began as promoters, putting on livewire events in the capital, booking punk kingpins LIFE, Avalanche Party and Fat White Family. Undoubtedly, the precocious Football FC are in good company
With the single artwork portraying an inferno with mushroom clouds of smoke, Football FC thrive on calamity, their snarling instrumentals a harbinger of chaos.
