Detroit-based, Neon Gold-signed Flint Eastwood is ever-powerful on new single "Push"
Following knock-out performances at this year's SXSW showcases, Flint Eastwood is back with new single "Push", a collaboration with fellow Michigan-based artist Tunde Olaniran.
January saw Jax Anderson aka Flint Eastwood kick the year off with her powerful mission statement of a single, "Queen". Taken from her forthcoming second EP Broken Royalty, Anderson shows a different side to her talent with the slightly more subdued "Push". Note the "slightly", as that's only when's the new track is put side by side with its predecessor: "Push" still very much packs a punch, and another enlightened one at that.
Featuring vocals from fellow Michigan-based artist Tunde Olaniran, Anderson stays true to her musical foundations which have seen her working collaboratively with Assembled Sound, a creative haven in Detroit of which she is one of the founding members.
The upcoming EP is set to continue establishing Flint Eastwood as one of the most exciting breakthrough artists of the year. The seven-track release will feature both "Queen" and "Push", as well as reworkings of previously released tracks "Glitches" and "Monster". You won't have to wait long to hear more, with the EP out in a matter of weeks from now.
